Planning- Sound Effects

We have decided to use 2 sound effects to compliment our soundtrack and heighten the suspense and thrill of our trailer. This is because we felt there was an element missing on certain sections of the the trailer. On the shot of the ghost disappearing and at the end of our trailer when the title comes on screen. We decided we wanted to use a swoosh on the shot on the ghost disappearing as it is a typical sound associated with the supernatural. Further to this we wanted to use a "crashing metal sound" for the end as it will create a emphatic effect. Also having the sound effect when the soundtrack ends will shock the viewer and further create a sense of danger, a typical horror atmosphere to end on. An element we saw on the end of the Oujia trailer.
